Iranians residing in Northern California will hold a press conference and rally to protest the recent remarks by the mullahs’ President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in which he called for annihilation of Israel, wiping out the U.S and threatened the leaders of Muslim countries with terrorism.

The rally that will take place in front of the UC Berkley Campus and will begin at 10:30 AM on Tuesday November 1, 2005, is part of a global campaign by supporters of the National Council of Resistance of Iran who will hold dozens of rallies in Europe, the U.S, Canada and Australia this week.

Iranians will urge the United Nations Security Council to impose sanctions on the clerical regime for its flagrant violations of human rights, export of terrorism and fundamentalism and efforts to acquire nuclear weapons. They will also demand that the terror label on the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran, the principal Iranian resistance movement be removed immediately.
